Hints and tips - POSTURE


A good golf posture is key for consistent, powerful and accurate ball striking​

The golf swing is a rotational turning motion around your spine.​

The better your position and angle of your spine at address, the better it can be maintained throughout the swing, especially at impact.​

You may not have a great when sitting, driving or even standing and walking , but with plenty of practice and follow my sequence then you can develop a better posture over the ball.


Hold the club in front of your belly button with your arms and legs straight. Stand up tall with your shoulders pulled back and stick your chest out


Tilt forwards making sure you tilt from the hips only. Your lower back should remain flat.​Feel like you are pushing your backside out and backwards


As the club lowers to touch the ground behind the ball, flex your knees slightly.
Do NOT over bend your knees
