Testimonials

“What can I say? FANTASTIC.

On behalf of all party and of Stanhill Sports and Social Club,  I can offer nothing but plaudits. From speaking to yourself with arranging the day, to the sandwiches and chips afterwards.Your help and understanding regarding the frequent change of numbers was greatly appreciated. What I expected to be difficulties were sorted out with ease by yourself, which obviously made things easier for me.

The hospitality that was offered upon our arrival was given professionally and courteously. Not only from yourself, but also from the girls in the spike bar

The course was a delight to play. It’s difficulty and technical course management was a challenge of the highest degree. Although some holes were daunting, they were a pleasure to play. We played a 4man scramble so as not to embarrass any individual.
veryone commented on the course and the challenge and enjoyment of playing such a diversity of holes. Most clubs offer one, maybe two signature holes, but Whitefield offered at least six.

The keener golfers among are eager to play Whitefield again, perhaps in an open sometime. That would really test our golf.”

“…we all thoroughly enjoyed both the course and the warm friendly reception we received from staff and members alike. The course was very challenging in parts, especially the par 3s and the final few long par 4s, but was a very fair test of golf in my opinion. The catering (for our Society) was also of a very high standard, and there was plenty to go round despite how hungry everyone was after the round.”

Keith Rawlinson – 20 May 2024

“At the close of our meeting on Thursday I was asked to convey to you the sincere thanks from all present for the way in which our society was received at Whitefield Golf Club. The course was felt to be in good condition, the clubhouse amenities left nothing to be desired and the catering department certainly looked after “the inner man”. On our behalf, will you please pass on our thanks to your Captain, Council and all others who made our visit very special.”

Peter Millington – 03 June 2024

“On behalf of the Grappenhall & Thelwall Royal British Legion Golf Society, we wish to send out our dearest thanks to you for hosting our society at your lovely golf course. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and your hospitality. Without your kindness and cooperation the society day may not have been possible. Gary, your pro was fantastic and super accommodating for all of our needs, and the ladies in the Spike Bar were so great and the food was great. The course is easily one of the best courses and is the reason why we love coming back again and again. Again, thank you very much and we wish you the greatest of luck in the coming months and we will hopefully see you soon”

Robyn Crebbin – 10 June 2024

“Gary, on behalf of the Disabled Golf Association. a big thank you to you and all your staff for a very warm welcome. We appreciated the opportunity to play golf at your venue and, even though the weather was not in our favour, the day was enjoyed by all . We are all looking forward to returning next month to play our Northern Open event. Once again many thanks to you and all your team.”
